New York opens a new chapter: a DVF return and a fur-free schedule
The Spring/Summer 2027 season began with Diane von Furstenberg back on the official calendar — and a policy change that puts New York beside London.

New York Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2027 ran from 10 to 15 September 2026 on the CFDA’s official calendar, with Thom Browne closing the schedule.
DVF, back on the calendar
The week opened on 10 September with Henry Zankov’s first show as creative director of Diane von Furstenberg — the brand’s first official show in nearly a decade, as reported by FashionUnited.
A fur-free schedule
From this season, fur is banned for all brands on the official NYFW schedule, with an exemption for fur from Indigenous subsistence hunting. New York becomes the second major fashion week to adopt such a policy, after London in 2023.
